The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and Local Government Authorities (LGAs), invites applications from qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill 678 vacant positions as outlined in this announcement.

ASSISTANT FOREST OFFICER GRADE II – 28 Positions

1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Supervise seed collection and tree nursery management.
ii. Collect forestry data and statistics.
iii. Supervise tree planting, maintenance, and harvesting activities.
iv. Collect revenue.
v. Measure Forest produce.
vi. Conduct patrols.
vii. Perform any other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

1.2 QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS

Candidates must hold a Diploma in one of the following fields: Forestry, Agroforestry, Forest Resources Assessment and Management, Forest Biology, Forest Economics, Forest Engineering, or a related field from an institution recognized by the Government.
