PROCEDURE
FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS AND RECEIVING RESPONSES
The
procedure for submitting applications and receiving responses for applicants
for the Diploma in Teacher Education for Pre-primary and Primary Education and
the Special Diploma in Primary Education is as follows:
(i)
Form Four leavers, Form Six leavers, and teachers who have completed a
Certificate in Teacher Education for Pre-primary and Primary Education,
possessing the qualifications specified in this announcement, are permitted to
submit applications;
(ii)
Applicants for Teacher Training at Government Teacher Training Colleges are
required to register and submit applications electronically through the
Ministry of Education, Science and Technology’s admission system (https://tcm.moe.go.tz/);
(iii)
An applicant for the Diploma in Teacher Education for Pre-primary and Primary
Education (2 years) will select three (03) streams, starting with their most
preferred;
(iv)
An applicant for the Special Diploma in Teacher Education for Primary Education
(3 years) will select three (03) specializations, starting with their most
preferred;
(v)
Responses for those selected to join Teacher Training at Government Teacher
Training Colleges will be provided through the system via the “Account” used by
the applicant to apply for Teacher Training (starting from 15/07/2026) and at
the Teacher Training College to which they are assigned;
(vi)
Applicants for Teacher Training at non-Government colleges should submit
applications directly to the respective colleges. Responses for those selected
to join such training will be provided by the respective Teacher Training
College to which they applied; and
(vii)
Instructions for joining Teacher Training will be provided through the Ministry
of Education, Science and Technology website (www.moe.go.tz) and the college to which the applicant is
assigned, using their address. All applicants are advised to provide a full
address, email, and reachable phone number for communication.
(viii)
The deadline for submitting applications is 10/07/2026.
