The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and Local Government Authorities (LGAs), invites applications from qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill 678 vacant positions as outlined in this announcement.

8.0 TEACHER GRADE III B – PHYSICS SUBJECT – 43 Positions

8.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i. Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, lesson notes, and work schedules for other assigned duties.
ii. Develop and adapt teaching and learning resources.
iii. Teach, assess, and maintain records of student progress.
iv. Supervise and monitor student attendance at school and in class.
v. Oversee the intellectual, physical, and spiritual development of students and provide guidance and counseling.
vi. Provide professional and academic advice on educational development.
vii. Supervise the maintenance of school equipment and property.
viii. Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of School.

8.2 QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS

Candidates must be holders of a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE - Form Six), having passed two or more subjects, and have successfully completed a two-year Diploma in Education with a teaching subject in Physics from a teachers' college recognized by the Government.
