OPPORTUNITIES ANNOUNCEMENT
The
Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of
Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) and Local Government Authorities
(LGAs), invites applications from qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill
678 vacant positions as outlined in this announcement.
GENERAL
CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS
- Citizenship
& Age: All
applicants must be citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania and should
not be older than 45 years.
- Disability: Applicants with
disabilities are encouraged to apply and must indicate their disability
type on the recruitment portal for the Secretariat's records.
- Birth
Certificate: All
applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate,
authenticated by a Commissioner for Oaths / Advocate.
- Public
Servants: DO
NOT APPLY if you are currently employed in the Public Service.
Such applicants must adhere to the guidelines in Circular No.
CAC45/257/01/D/140 of 30 November 2010.
- Supporting
Documents: All
applications must include cover letters and certified copies of academic
certificates (from a Commissioner for Oaths/Advocate), including: Birth
Certificate, educational certificates (Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced
Diploma/Diploma/Certificates), and professional certificates from
respective boards.
- Unacceptable
Certificates: Testimonials,
Provisional Results, Statement of Results, and Form IV/VI Results
Slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Foreign
Certificates: Applicants
who studied abroad must have their certificates verified and approved by
the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTVET). For positions
requiring a GPA, applicants who studied abroad must attach a GPA
conversion certificate from TCU.
- Retirees: Retired public service
employees are not permitted to apply unless they have prior permission
from the Chief Secretary.
- Falsification: Submission of false
information or forged certificates will lead to legal action.
- Application
Deadline: The
deadline for submitting applications is 17th September, 2026.
