The Prime Minister’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) in collaboration with Educate! Tanzania has officially announced 400 contract (volunteer) teaching vacancies for Business Studies teachers in secondary schools across selected regions in Tanzania.

This recruitment aims to strengthen the quality of education by bringing in qualified graduates in Business and Economics to support teaching in public secondary schools.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution in any of the following fields:

  • Bachelor of Education in Business Studies / Business Education
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Economics / Bachelor of Arts in Economics
  • Any other related Business or Economics qualification

Additional Requirements

  • Basic understanding of business concepts
  • Computer literacy skills

General Conditions

  • Must be a Tanzanian citizen
  • Age must be 42 years or below
  • Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIDA)
  • Must not be currently employed by the government or any other institution
